Chapter 312 I am Xuan Yang, this path is called Reverse Life - Level 3
Looking at Zuo Ruotong, who was about to dissipate, Lü Qian stopped saying any polite words and continued to exercise to verify the path of reversing life.
Zuo Ruotong's improved Reverse Life Technique, although still somewhat rough around the edges typical of a newly established method, is a significant improvement over the original, extremely dangerous method.
The improved Reverse Rebirth is still "triple," without adding any further layers like "quadruple" or "quintuple"...
The path to heaven has no end, and the path of cultivation has no limit. Excessive pursuit of so-called "realms" will only lead to falling into the deception and prison of "triple rebirth that can lead to ascension" like the Sanyi Sect did back then.
The concept of "realm" is merely to help practitioners clarify their position on the path of cultivation, to help them discern the direction, and thus to better advance in their cultivation.
It is like a "guiding stone" left by our predecessors when they created and expounded the Dharma. With it, the path of those who come after can be walked steadily and properly.
However, "guideposts" are neither necessary nor have they always existed!
The Dao exists externally in heaven and earth, and manifests internally in body and mind; it is never something that can be represented or indicated by one or two stones.
Our predecessors set out the way, and others will follow. But in the transition between the past and the future, the most important thing is now, this very moment, and "me"!
It is "me", the "monkey" with nine orifices and eight openings, divine and intelligent, spiritual and agile, the "Wukong" who seeks immortality and the secret of eternal youth!
"I" is simply "I". The true nature of cultivation, whether it is three levels or four levels, is nothing more than the path I have walked and the "footprints" I have left on the way.
When did these "footprints" become the "fruit of the Tao" that seekers pursue?
It's both laughable and tragic. The Tao is free within me; why should I use external things to measure or define it?
Cultivating truth and self-cultivation are both true cultivation. Cultivating oneself is the true cultivation. The highest realm and the most correct direction for a cultivator is simply to be "sincere to oneself".
The Great Way leads to Heaven, and the path to Heaven has no end. If you don't find the right direction, no matter how many layers you add, it will be in vain. You will only go further and further down the wrong path.
The new version of Reverse Life has been revised and supplemented within the original "triple" framework, leading the original path of excessively pursuing Qi transformation in another direction, a more substantial and realistic one.
The first level of cultivation is no longer simply about "transforming Qi into the flesh and blood," but rather about planting a solid foundation for life under the ethereal and rootless appearance of an immortal.
Gather the wisdom that the primordial spirit illuminates in the stillness as fuel, and ignite a pure fire of the Dao in the spiritual platform.
This fire is formless and shapeless, yet it carries the pure and clear meaning of the primordial spirit. It will burn away all the impurities and defilements, such as distracting thoughts, delusions, infatuations, love, and hatred, that arise in the Niwan Palace, and return the spirit to its most original state of "god".
This "god" is not a deity, but the purest "true self" of every cultivator, the "innate ancestral nature" born from the primordial chaos, which is also the morning star shining between Lü Qian's brows at this moment, its brilliance eternal and surpassing the sun and moon.
"Bury away all the accumulated dust and thoughts in your mind, and reshape the immaculate palace of Niwan."
This is the first of the three levels, and also the first of the three reversals.
"The great radiance of the sun gives rise to purple energy, which flows down from the nine heavens in one breath."
As soon as he finished speaking, the star between Lü Qian's brows, which covered the sun and moon in his eyes, suddenly flickered, as if it had come to life, alternating between reality and illusion like a person's breathing.
As he breathed, wisps of purple light flowed out with the transformation of starlight, gradually gathering into a flowing stream at the center of Lü Qian's brow.
This trickle of light gathered with the breath of the stars, and gradually the originally brilliant starlight was tinged with this magnificent and grand purple hue.
The purple aura circulated, but remained trapped in the Niwan Palace, neither rising nor falling, eventually dyeing the entire star pure purple.
"call--"
As the last ray of starlight completely bathed the earth, Lü Qian, who was practicing his internal energy, exhaled a long breath. With this breath, the purple energy that had been lingering in his Niwan Palace, neither rising nor falling, burst forth like a floodgate being opened, breaking through its restraints and cascading down.
The torrent of purple energy poured down through Lü Qian's bright, sun-and-moon eyes, propelled by the breath he took after each exhale, rushing down along the "magpie bridge" he had already built in his mouth towards his internal organs.
"Boom!"
In the void, as the purple energy surged around Lü Qian, it seemed to emit a thunderous roar.
This roar seemed to announce the arrival of a torrent of purple energy into the internal organs.
The purple aura, mixed with the breath inhaled through Lü Qian's mouth and nose, flowed into his lungs, nourishing his internal organs. It was also enhanced and aided by the Lung Yang Metal, and surged toward his throbbing heart.
The purple torrent entered the heart, but instead of extinguishing the originally raging fire within, it made the fire burn even brighter.
As the blazing fire of the heart purifies the purple energy, it also sends it into the internal organs below, making the river flowing down from the Niwan Palace above even stronger and purer.
The spleen (earth), liver (wood), and kidney (water) – the purple energy gradually received nourishment and purification from the five elements of the five internal organs.
Meanwhile, the internal organs are cleansed of their "impurities" by the airflow during this process, and the power of the internal organs and six channels becomes even more powerful.
These two forces intertwined and refined within Lü Qian's body, making his muscles, bones, skin, and flesh increasingly pure and clear. Wisps of white energy emanated from all around him, similar to but not quite the same as the original second level of the Reverse Rebirth technique.
"Wash away the lead and refine the essence, and temper the bones of immortality within the skin."
This is the second of three layers, and also the second reversal of rebirth.
"The surging waters gather spirit, and the flow of energy permeates the world."
After speaking, Lü Qian exhaled again, this long breath seemed to empty his lungs, and also seemed to empty the space in his abdomen.
However, when this acquired energy is exhaled, the purple energy that originally flowed down to the lower abdomen, mixed with the "essence" and "energy" contained in the five internal organs, followed the vacuum left by the extraction of acquired energy, and suddenly rose up along the spine, passing through three passes and crossing the bridge of the pond, returning to the heart and soul of the eyebrows.
"Peng".
When the spirit, imbued with vital energy, returned to the blazing Niwan Palace, a tiny sound, as if a water sphere had been punctured, emanated from Lü Qian.
His originally ethereal figure suddenly disintegrated, transforming into streams of pure and flawless energy that spread throughout the inner realm, where essence, energy, and spirit intertwined and circulated.
The flames in the Niwan Palace did not extinguish as Lü Qian's body disintegrated. Instead, they ignited every part of the space along with the drifting air currents, allowing every wisp of essence, energy, and spirit to fully fuse under the scorching and tempering of the divine fire.
"The Three Treasures temper the knot of life and nature, and the Dao Fruit and Golden Body are refined in the fire."
"The cycle of reality and illusion reverses three times three, and the cycle of up and down repeats nine times nine."
Amidst the dissipating, ethereal aura, Lü Qian's voice suddenly rang out, and the burning divine fire grew even more intense with his tone, illuminating the surrounding inner void and Zuo Ruotong's relaxed figure.
"I am Xuan Yang, and this path is called Reverse Life—Triple!"
