Journey to the West: Black Six Ears

038. Dragon Girl vs. Wukong

038. Dragon Girl vs. Wukong

The dragon girl sensed something was wrong.

She had already figured out this place; it was a ginseng fruit orchard.

She had only heard of ginseng fruit, but had never seen it.

I never expected it to grow on a tree.

"I heard that this is the treasure that the Queen Mother of the West ate at her birthday banquet."

Seeing the temptation so close at hand, the Dragon Girl couldn't resist reaching out her hand.

Eating one would increase one's lifespan by 47,000 years, a terrifying temptation for a dragon girl who had cultivated for a thousand years.

However, the Dragon Girl bit her tongue hard, forcing herself to turn her head away and stop looking at the treasures hanging on the tree.

This is ultimately Zhenyuan Daxian's territory.

The Dragon Girl knew she wasn't up to the task of stealing treasures from someone else's territory without being caught.

If she were alone, she might try to eat one, but Guanyin Bodhisattva was standing behind her.

She dared not provoke such an enemy for that Bodhisattva.

Just as she took two steps back, intending to go back to her room, she suddenly heard footsteps.

The dragon girl immediately found a place to hide and conceal her presence.

Soon, the footsteps drew closer.

But the Dragon Girl didn't see anyone.

"Invisibility technique?"

The dragon girl closed her eyes, made a hand seal, and when she opened her eyes again, there was a monkey in front of her.

The sight of this monkey ignited the dragon girl's anger.

Recently, she has been thoroughly tricked by this monkey.

However, the Dragon Girl only took a light breath.

She wasn't unaware that the pilgrimage team had come to this place.

Since it's a pilgrimage team, then this monkey must be Sun Wukong.

Moreover, Sun Qiong has been facing her in person recently, so she has rarely seen her like this.

"It's not the Six-Eared Macaque."

The Dragon Girl made this judgment.

Meanwhile, the monkey sneaked into the garden.

After the dazzling garden, there is a lush and verdant vegetable garden.

This place is filled with rich spiritual energy, making it an ideal place for cultivating immortality.

The monkey, oblivious to the good fortune, squandered the precious resources, trampling on the garden and nearly knocking over the rare and precious herbs.

The Dragon Girl was so frightened that her heart pounded, and she almost rushed up to beat the monkey up.

Soon, the monkey darted into the last courtyard.

In the very center stood a large tree, its branches lush and green, its leaves shady and deep. The leaves resembled banana leaves, and it stood over a thousand feet tall, with a base that was seven or eight feet in circumference.

The monkey leaned against the tree and looked up. On the south-facing branch, a ginseng fruit was visible, just like a child. It turned out to be a stem on the branch. The fruit was sticking out of the branch, its limbs moving around, nodding and swaying, and it seemed to make a sound when the wind blew.

The monkey was overjoyed, secretly praising, "What a treasure! Truly rare! Truly rare!"

He leaned against the tree and, with a whoosh, leaped up.

Upon seeing this, the Dragon Girl simply shook her head.

She didn't steal it, but Sun Wukong did.

As if by some strange twist of fate, the Dragon Girl did not leave, but instead waited in the darkness.

Before long, the monkey, carrying clothes, slipped out from inside.

The Dragon Girl knew from his expression that the monkey must have succeeded.

After the monkey left, the Dragon Girl stood up and walked closer to the ginseng fruit tree.

"Such a wonderful item, what a pity."

Just then, she suddenly noticed the gold cudgel that had fallen to the ground.

That monkey was so careless that it didn't even take its tools with it.

When the Dragon Girl saw it, her heart pounded like a drum.

Even though she cultivated herself alongside the Bodhisattva and was accustomed to seeing rare and precious materials, she was still deeply tempted by this ginseng fruit.

Now that it's a fact that Sun Wukong and his companions stole the ginseng fruit, it seems that someone would have to take the blame for either one more or one less.

The Dragon Girl picked up the golden mallet, gritted her teeth, and struck the fruit with her hand.

As a result, one less fruit was found on the ginseng fruit tree.

Meanwhile, Wukong, carrying three ginseng fruits, entered the room.

There are two people standing in the room at this moment.

One is Pigsy, who instigated the monkey to steal the ginseng fruit; the other is King Yellow Wind, who was hinted by Sun Qiong to follow Pigsy.

Upon seeing the ginseng fruit, the Yellow Wind Demon immediately understood why Pigsy had come to his room in the middle of the night and insisted that he come along.

It turns out they stole someone's ginseng fruit. Fearing being held accountable later, they also invited the Yellow Wind King, whom Xuanzang had his eye on.

However, since Sun Qiong said it's nothing, then it's nothing.

King Huangfeng didn't say anything, but simply thanked him and took the ginseng fruit from Wukong's hand.

"It's a good product."

With one bite, the Yellow Wind King's eyes lit up.

This ginseng fruit is truly a wonderful thing. Just one bite is enough to know that it is a treasure for prolonging life.

The Yellow Wind Monster found it strange, but for Sun Wukong, who was used to eating peaches of immortality and drinking imperial wine, and for Zhu Bajie, who was accustomed to the rare delicacies of heaven, this thing was not particularly special.

Pigsy swallowed it whole without tasting a single flavor.

The three of them were enjoying ginseng fruit in their room, and the Dragon Girl was also eating fruit in her own room.

On the other side, however, it was a completely different scene for Qingfeng and Mingyue, who had just lain down.

"Mingyue, I just came back from serving tea, and I heard that Pigsy complaining that he wasn't happy with the ginseng fruit and wanted another one. Could it be that he stole our treasure?"

Mingyue sat up abruptly, not even bothering to put on her shoes, and ran towards the ginseng fruit orchard.

Seeing his excitement, Qingfeng smiled and chased after him.

As expected, Mingyue, filled with anger, quickly gathered everyone together.

Apart from Xuanzang, who was awakened, all of these people harbored ulterior motives.

Just as she was cursing, Qingfeng suddenly burst in and grabbed Mingyue:

"Mingyue, the Dragon Girl has disappeared."

Mingyue was shocked, and then her face turned ashen.

At this moment, he still couldn't figure out who had eaten the ginseng fruit.

"It must have been the dragon girl who stole the ginseng fruit; this has nothing to do with us!"

Pigsy immediately started shouting.

Although he didn't know what the Dragon Girl's situation was, since someone was taking the blame, Pigsy wouldn't let this opportunity pass.

However, after being scolded by Mingyue, the monkey became enraged and thought to himself:

"This boy is so despicable! Let him hit me to my face and I'll put up with his rudeness. But I'll give him a plan to wipe out his lineage, so that none of us will be able to survive!"

His true form emerged as a god, leaping up from the clouds and directly into the ginseng garden. He wielded his golden cudgel and struck a table tennis ball on a tree, then used his divine strength to push the tree down.

The dummy body that remained in place continued to stare at the two young Taoist boys.

Seeing Mingyue's angry expression, Xuanzang, unsure whether his words were true or false, had no choice but to speak:

"Wukong, go and capture that dragon girl and confront her face to face."

Mingyue was about to refuse when Qingfeng tugged at his sleeve, which made him shut up.

And so, the matter was settled.

On the other side, after knocking down the ginseng fruit tree, Sun Wukong turned to leave.

Unexpectedly, a figure appeared in front of him.

"Monkey, I've finally found you!"

The Dragon Girl looked at the monkey in front of her. This guy had just been carrying the Golden Cudgel and had transformed into seventy-two forms, just like the Six-Eared Macaque she had seen before.

And at that moment she also noticed that there was a monkey next to Xuanzang.

Therefore, this guy must be the Six-Eared Macaque!

Who are you?

Sun Wukong was startled and turned around to see a dragon girl blocking his way.

Seeing him feign ignorance, the Dragon Girl's face immediately flashed with anger.

The Dragon Girl didn't waste any more words with him. With a push of one hand, the pearl filled with seawater flew up.

When Sun Wukong saw her make a move, he mistook the Dragon Girl for a monster and rushed over with his staff to attack her.

The Ruyi Jingu Bang struck the precious pearl with a loud thud, and Sun Wukong immediately felt weak and numb.

"What...what is this?"

Wukong was shocked; he had actually been outmaneuvered by this dragon girl!

It's no wonder Wukong was surprised, after all, the Bodhisattva had said that although he had the ability to carry mountains, he didn't have the strength to cross seas.

And this precious pearl contains an entire ocean of water.

Sun Qiong initially suffered from the power of this pearl; if he hadn't later acquired the supernatural ability to move mountains and overturn seas, he really wouldn't have been a match for the Dragon Girl.

"Six-Eared Macaque, surrender at once!"

The Dragon Girl snorted coldly, smashed the pearl in her hand, and took out a willow branch from her sleeve at the same time.

If Sun Qiong were here, she would definitely turn around and run away upon seeing this thing.

Those willow branches, they really hurt when they hit you.

Snapped!

With a loud bang, a figure darted out and disappeared into the night.
