Chapter 2261 Su Wen
Chapter 2261 Su Wen
Chapter 2261 Su Wen
As Qin Sang walked out of the stone bridge, the flames and cold wind behind him fell back at the same time.
Qin Sang turned his head to take a look, closed his eyes slightly, and comprehended what he had just gained.
The chapter on the harmony of water and fire and the level of the stone bridge complement each other, so Qin Sang gained a lot, but he may not gain such a lot in the following levels.
Just by walking on the stone bridge for a while, Qin Sang's cultivation has improved again. Of course, this is secondary. The most important thing is the improvement in his understanding of the Tao. The road ahead will be smoother.
Qin Sang stood there, taking it all in carefully before looking forward to take in the scene at the next level.
One end of the stone bridge is built on a group of white clouds, and in front of the white clouds is endless void, with nothing and no place to stand.
Seeing the scene ahead, Qin Sang had only one feeling, that of emptiness.
Above is the boundless blue sky, without a single cloud.
Below is an endless abyss, with no bottom in sight.
Qin Sang frowned slightly. From the time he stepped onto the white cloud until now, he had not received any clues. What exactly was the test of this level?
Or is the next level actually further ahead, and this is actually a safe area between the two levels?
Qin Sang did not leave the white clouds rashly. He stood on the clouds with his hands behind his back, motionless.
Not long after, Qin Sang suddenly looked sideways in the direction of his left hand, and saw a ray of light appearing at the end of the void, like the glow before the rising sun, which was dazzling the moment it appeared, awakening all things in the world from their slumber.
Qin Sang's expression moved slightly. He stared at the glow and saw that it gradually became dazzling. A hint of golden light appeared in the red glow, and then a huge fireball rose from the glow.
"sun?"
Qin Sang knew that this was not the real sun, but a fireball transformed by the power of the formation.
The naked eye can clearly see the blazing flames on the surface of the fireball. A sense of scorching heat is overwhelming, far more brutal than the real sun. If there are any wild beasts here, they will be roasted into charcoal immediately.
Waves of heat came over him, and Qin Sang stood still, watching the sun draw an arc in the sky.
As the sunset was about to come, Qin Sang showed an expression of "as expected" on his face, because as the fireball fell and the light faded, a blue light emerged in the sunset area, and then a blue sphere slowly rose. Unlike the moon outside, this was an ice ball, hanging high in the sky, and it was chilling.
In an instant, the extreme heat turned into extreme cold.
The Sun and the Moon are originally named the Sun and the Moon. Obviously, the fireball and the ice ball are imitating the sun and the moon in the world, and one cycle happens to be a day and a night in the outside world.
As the ice ball falls, the fire ball rises to take its place, and the cycle repeats endlessly.
Where exactly is the test at this level?
Qin Sang fell into deep thought, his eyes following the rotating balls of ice and fire. He had a vague understanding in his mind, and finally he raised his feet and walked out of the white clouds.
After taking just one step, Qin Sang stopped again and waited for the ice and fire balls to complete three rotations before taking the second step.
This second step not only moves forward, but also moves slightly upward.
He paused for a while, then took the third step, the fourth step...
There seemed to be an invisible staircase in the void, and Qin Sang climbed up step by step, reaching the sky.
Finally, Qin Sang reached the top, and the fireball moved over, right above his head, and the horrible flames licked his body.
Qin Sang smiled slightly, and threw himself into the flame like a moth to a flame.
Then you can see a human figure appear on the surface of the fireball, falling into the abyss with the fireball. And when the ice ball rises, the human figure appears on the surface of the ice ball again.
He just followed the ice and fire balls, participating in the rotation and replacement, and as time went by, not only was he not burned or frozen by the fire, but he was also moving little by little towards the inside of the ice and fire balls.
Until he entered the core of the ice and fire balls, and even became the core of the ice and fire balls. Suddenly, everything fell silent. Qin Sang was in a trance and found that he had left the ice and fire balls and appeared at the end of the second level.
Qin Sang looked back and the space behind him turned into a peaceful void again. When the next intruder came in, the balls of ice and fire would appear again.
"Yin and Yang rotate, you are in me, I am in you..."
Qin Sang murmured softly, everyone understands the truth, but only by experiencing it personally can one realize the mystery of the great way and put it into practice in one's own practice. This formation gave him this precious experience process.
He took a deep breath and continued forward to face new challenges.
The formation displayed the principles of yin and yang to him in various ways and from various angles, and it seemed as if it was tailor-made for him, without departing from the images of ice and fire.
With this "famous teacher", Qin Sang's understanding of the great truth has improved by leaps and bounds.
Now, Qin Sang has reached the late Nascent Soul stage in the Water and Fire Assistance Chapter and is steadily advancing towards the Spiritualization Stage. It was at this time that Qin Sang encountered difficulties, because the great formation tests not only talent and ability but also cultivation.
The best approach is to practice while passing levels. Qin Sang believes that he can complete all the tests of the formation, but the chapter of Water and Fire is not "The Heavenly Demon Refining Form". Even if the speed of practice is fast, there is a limit after all. The omen from heaven has appeared, and Qin Sang doesn't know how much time he has left.
It seems that if you want to know the secret of Yuji Mountain as soon as possible, you have to break in by force!
Qin Sang's eyes sparkled. He had been deducing this plan and thought it was feasible.
Because he had already been recognized by the formation and was considered half-master, even if he broke in by force, the formation would not regard him as an enemy to be killed. In addition, he had the eyesight of a Void Refining cultivator, so he could definitely do it.
Of course, Qin Sang’s current strength is still inferior.
Qin Sang estimated that once he had cultivated "The Heavenly Demon Form Refining" to the late fifth level, that is, the late stage of the Spirit Transformation Stage, combined with his attainments in the chapter on the harmony of water and fire, he should be able to break this formation.
Before this, Qin Sang had already declared to the mysterious Qingluan that he could refine the holy object. In order to act more realistically, Qin Sang had to wait another ten years.
Ten years is just a blink of an eye for a cultivator.
Qin Sang simply stayed in Yuji Mountain and devoted most of his energy to breaking the formation and practicing the Water and Fire Harmony Chapter.
Ten years later.
"The Heavenly Demon's Form Refining" came to fruition naturally and entered the late fifth level.
Qin Sang was now standing in front of the last level of the formation. He had tried three times and failed all three times, but he went further each time and his confidence grew stronger.
At this point, the limits of the formation can be determined. If a person is a pure practitioner of the Yin-Yang Dao and has cultivated to the middle stage of the Spirit Transformation Realm, he will be able to pass all tests and become the master here.
Qin Sang's attainment in the Water and Fire Harmony chapter was still a little short of the Spirit Transformation Stage, so he relied on his own strength to force his way through the next few levels.
Looking at the ever-changing fantastic scene in front of him, Qin Sang's gaze gradually became deep. His line of sight moved back and forth, and suddenly focused, as if locking onto something. Then his figure flashed and flew out.
There are towering mountains and peaks that gather together like a sleeping dragon.
The mountains and forests are deep and dark, with towering ancient trees, which have guarded the fairy mountains for endless years.
The branches and leaves are intertwined, and spots of light are scattered on the clear springs in the mountains. The spring water is gurgling, and the waterfall is pouring down from a height like the Milky Way, carrying a hint of fairy air.
Suddenly, a rainbow bridge descended from the sky, and there was a person on the bridge, walking slowly down.
"Is this the true appearance of Yuji Mountain?"
Qin Sang stood on the Rainbow Bridge and scanned this secret place.
Just now, he passed the last level of the formation and was immediately recognized as the master of Yuji Mountain. From then on, he could come and go freely.
As expected, the real Yuji Mountain is full of spiritual energy and fairy air. It is not only a holy place for spiritual practice, but also has a vast terrain and abundant resources. Qin Sang saw several rare spiritual medicines at a glance.
This place is big enough to be the mountain gate of a large sect, but unlike what was expected, there is no one here, and there are no pavilions or palaces to be seen, only deep mountains and old forests everywhere.
"Has Yuji Mountain never been a famous sect?"
Qin Sang thought to himself that it was no wonder that he could not find any information about Yuji Mountain. This was a hidden sect, or perhaps not even a sect. If the sect had only a few disciples, it would not be so crowded that not a single temple or pavilion could be found.
There is no palace or pavilion here, only an octagonal stone pavilion located on the top of the main peak.
Qin Sang dodged and landed outside the pavilion. He saw a stone table and a pair of stone benches in the pavilion. There was a chessboard carved on the surface of the stone table. There were some chess pieces on the chessboard, leaving a game endgame.
This scene can't help but remind people of the time when two people were playing chess in the pavilion. Suddenly, they encountered an emergency and left in a hurry, never to return.
"Ok?"
Qin Sanduo took a closer look at the chess board and something moved his mind.
The next moment, these chess pieces suddenly shone brightly, and rays of light shot into Qin Sang's brows. Looking at the pavilion again, there was no chessboard or chess pieces, only flying jade cards.
Qin Sang closed his eyes tightly, feeling countless mysterious words flooding into his mind.
He found the chapter on the harmony of water and fire, and the complete "Theory of the Four Qi to Regulate the Spirit", but it was only a small part of the content.
"Su Wen..."
After a long while, Qin Sang muttered these two words, with a look of shock on his face.
What he got was actually a collection of Buddhist scriptures called "Su Wen Jing"!
This scripture belongs to the theory of yin and yang, but it is all-encompassing and far exceeds Qin Sang's previous imagination.
The chapter on the mutual assistance of water and fire is a part of the "Great Treatise on the Correspondence of Yin and Yang", and the "Great Treatise on the Correspondence of Yin and Yang" is only a part of the "Su Wen Jing".
This sutra is profound and extensive, and explains the great way of yin and yang through countless phenomena.
The chapter on the interaction of water and fire is one of them. There are several other types of methods in the "Great Treatise on the Correspondence of Yin and Yang" alone. Similar to the chapter on the interaction of water and fire, they practice by studying other natural phenomena between heaven and earth.
The Theory of Four Qi to Regulate the Spirit may seem like just a secret technique for regulating oneself, but if one practices it to a high level, one can also use it to comprehend the principles of yin and yang.
Others include "On the Generation of the Five Zang Organs" and "On the Differentiation of the Five Zang Organs", which transform the five internal organs into the five zang organs of heaven and earth, and focus on cultivating the qi of the five zang organs to harmonize yin and yang.
All these things are still based on the same principle.
Moreover, these are not progressive relationships, but parallel ones, and all can be used to enter the Tao.
Although it seems complicated, in fact, practitioners do not need to worry about gains and losses when entering the Tao. They can choose one according to their own talents and circumstances. As their practice improves, they can explore other things, draw inferences from one instance to another, and verify each other.
All paths lead to the same destination, and in the end everyone can understand the great way of yin and yang!
Qin Sang read on quickly and found that this sutra directly pointed to the realm of refining the void and merging with the Tao, which was equivalent to the fusion period in later generations.
As for whether it includes the content of the Mahayana period, Qin Sang is not sure, because he can't understand it. The true teaching is a sentence, the higher the realm, the more concise it is, there is really only one sentence, just a few words, mysterious and profound.
What is certain is that as long as one has enough talent, it will be no problem to cultivate to the fusion stage with this sutra.
"It's at least a fusion-level technique!"
Qin Sang was overjoyed, but at the same time felt a little regretful.
The seal of the Five Thunder Envoys' Court is a broken seal, the "Purple Star Sword Sutra" is not yet complete, and the bone flute may contain a complete "Heavenly Demon Refining Form", but it may be full of hidden dangers.
In a sense, this Su Wen Sutra might be the greatest opportunity he got in the illusion. If the Zi Wei Sword Sutra and Tian Yao Lian Xing didn't work, this Sutra could serve as a backup.
However, Qin Sang still had no intention of revising the "Su Wen Jing".
Firstly, the future of "Purple Star Sword Classic" is already clear, and secondly, "Su Wen Jing" is too complicated.
This is also the reason why Qin Sang feels regretful.
Liuli was born near Yuji Mountain, which made Qin Sang look forward to whether the inheritance here was related to the Spring and Autumn Sundial.
If the "Su Wen Jing" is a set of exercises from later generations, there is no doubt about it!
The world of immortal cultivation is also constantly developing. After generations of cultivators' creation and summary, the difference between later techniques and ancient ones is very obvious.
The various characteristics of the "Su Wen Jing" are very consistent with the ancient times. For example, the distinction between realms is not clear enough, the content is not concise enough, and the key points of practice are not pointed out. Many of the contents are just outlines, which require practitioners to explore on their own, and the requirements for comprehension are extremely high.
Practicing the "Su Wen Jing" is an even more enormous project. It shows all the paths. There are no big problems at the beginning, but if practitioners want to achieve great success, they must try all the scriptures and theories before they can summarize their own path.
In later generations, the "Su Wen Jing" might be divided into many parts, as the true teachings of each meridian, so that those with less talent can also follow the steps.
Undoubtedly, the former requires higher talent and understanding from the practitioner.
Qin Sang closed the book and sighed. His hopes were dashed. He could not be sure whether the "Su Wen Jing" was related to the Spring and Autumn Sundial. Everything seemed to have returned to the starting point. Fortunately, he still had other ways.
……
The top of Yuji Mountain.
A white cloud floated in from the north.
There were two women standing on the white clouds, both of them were peerless beauties, each with her own unique charm.
They were Qinghong and Shuangluo, who had received a message from Qin Sang not long ago and came here together.
"Junior sister, the place that Junior Brother mentioned in the letter seems to be the mountain below!"
Qinghong took a quick look and pointed at Yuji Mountain.
"I wonder if Junior Brother has changed much."
Frostfall nodded and said softly.
Her cheeks flushed slightly. After not seeing him for many years, the figure in her memory was still so clear, and the friendship buried deep in her heart became more mellow like aged wine.
"He has changed. He is more arrogant than before," Qing Hong curled his lips.
"It's normal for junior brother to be arrogant," Shuangluo chuckled with her hands covering her lips.
Her disciples would be stunned if they saw this. Is this really the iceberg master they feared?
They descended from the clouds, and before they reached the top of the mountain, they saw a flash of light in front of the cliff, and a door appeared out of thin air.
Qin Sang came out to greet them personally, and bowed from afar, "Please come in quickly, two senior sisters. I hope you won't blame me for not coming to greet you in person."
