Chapter 447 Yu Lin Hong's Cold Sneer
Chapter 447 Yu Lin Hong's Cold Sneer
Hearing the conversation between the two, Seventh Eyes' expression turned even uglier. The fine threads below her red wedding dress all shrank towards the bottom of the wrecked boat, but the black water of the boat without lights had already wrapped around half of her body along those threads. The Yu Lin red account name on the back of the boat also obscured her vision and the nail marks on the water's edge.
Just as the lingering frost pattern was completely swallowed by the lampless ship, the red pattern on the blood-stained card in Mo Chengyue's right palm suddenly contracted inward. Yu Linhong's lingering spirit emerged from the edge of the ink character in his palm. The damp red aura bypassed the cold red blood ash, and when he spoke, it was much colder than before.
"Mo Chengyue, that's enough."
The sound startled the lamp in Manager Hu's hand, causing it to tilt to the side of the box. She immediately covered the gap in the lampshade with the corner of her sleeve.
"She spoke up."
Mo Chengyue's left hand did not leave the sword hilt, while his other right hand, which was hanging outside the door, was slightly turned over, allowing the blood-stained red pattern to send that lingering spirit to the back of the No-Light Ship sign.
"Finally willing to go to the counter?"
Yu Lin Hong's voice came from the blood-red pattern, carrying a dampness suppressed by the black water.
"Red Maple Ferry is just an old nail I laid; it should have rotted in the water long ago. You can use it to lure boats without lights, but it won't hurt me."
Mo Chengyue looked at the nail marks on the back of the ship's nameplate.
"The fact that the old nail is still emitting steam means it's not completely rotten."
"You think a mere old nail will make the accountant arrest me?"
"I don't think so; I let it ask itself."
Below the three characters "Yu Lin Hong" on the back of the ship's nameplate, the wet black strokes expanded outwards, and a stroke of blood reappeared, but it no longer only faced Mo Chengyue's palm. Instead, it split into a black ink stroke that wrapped around the red line under the seventh eye and the soul nail mark on the bottom of the broken ship.
The seventh eye was in so much pain that it dragged its whole body to the edge of the boat. Its red wedding dress was torn open with a wet tear, and the old silver energy in half of its eye was almost extinguished by the black water.
"Boat owner!"
Yu Lin Hong ignored her and only spoke to Mo Cheng Yue.
"Without a lighthouse boat, they won't accept sects from the shore. They can only use the water to write accounts. The entrance to Red Maple Ferry has been sealed off for twenty years."
Mo Chengyue pressed the broken corner of the talisman into the talisman ash, and the cold red aura followed the blood-ash line to stick to the back of the ship's nameplate.
"After being sealed for twenty years, you still managed to crush Ah Sui into a lamp wick, allowed the Seventh Eye to recognize the shore through your eyes, and even allowed your lingering resentment to crawl in along my Yin-Yang True Essence. Yu Lin Hong, you old nail are quite dedicated."
Yu Lin Hong coldly replied, "That's a matter for the Red Lantern Boat."
"Accountant, did you hear that? The person in charge said it's not her fault."
The wet black strokes on the back of the ship's nameplate stopped, and the nail marks next to the three characters "Yu Lin Hong" expanded outwards, revealing a blurry array of soul nails beneath the sprue marks.
Fear appeared on the seventh eye's face.
"Don't write!"
Taking advantage of the opening, Manager Hu used his silver hairpin to flick downwards along the base of the red line under his eye. The old silver aura seeped into the red line, and a section of silver light in his eye broke out, making the connection between his eye and the red wedding dress more obvious.
"Mo Chengyue, the line is almost open."
"continue."
"The black water clung to her even tighter."
"Let it entangle."
"What will happen to her eyes if she's dragged into the tent?"
"The eyes are stolen goods; the accountant should not accept stolen goods, as they are the thief's possessions."
Manager Hu understood this and did not return the silver hairpin.
The seventh eye bit down on Benyin, and the wet red thread wrapped around Manager Hu's wrist.
"You're dreaming!"
Mo Chengyue flicked his sword tip, and the talisman ash intercepted the thin threads.
"Even dreams have to wait in line; you'll have to pay back your eyes first."
Yu Lin Hong's lingering regret sank into the blood-stained letter, then her voice pressed down on the lampless ship.
"The No-Lantern Boat, the old nails of Red Maple Ferry are now useless, the seventh eye is the lantern eye of the Red Lantern Boat, the blood letter is the wedding letter of the boat, and the soul lamp is raised by the Red Lantern Boat. If you want to collect debts, collect Mo Chengyue first."
The three characters "Yu Lin Hong" on the back of the ship's license plate did not sink.
Mo Chengyue looked down at his palm. The red patterns that should have been named were now being stimulated by Yu Lin Hong's words, and he wanted to bypass the lingering frost pattern and continue writing.
He did not stop him. Instead, he pulled the Sound Heart Pendant out from inside his clothes. The jade-colored pendant was stained with blood ash. He stuck it next to the hilt of the Rain Flower Sword, right in front of the lingering sound wave in the blood letter.
Seeing his movements, Manager Hu asked in a low voice, "What are you taking now?"
"To suppress the sound."
"You want to pressure her?"
"She rarely speaks up, so we should at least leave her an address."
Yu Lin Hong paused for a moment.
"Are you trying to pinpoint my flaws?"
"Don't be nervous, it's just a routine registration."
You can't find it.
"Then please continue, I'd like to hear more."
Yu Lin Hong sneered, the red patterns on the blood-stained plaque surging inward, trying to pull the remnants of sound back from in front of the Yin Xin Pei. However, the black water of the Wu Deng ship was holding her account name, and the frost-patterned remnants were blocking the continuation of the blood-stained plaque name. Her lingering thoughts could not retreat and could only be forced to hang between Mo Cheng Yue's palm and the back of the ship's plaque.
Mo Chengyue pressed down on the Yinxin Pendant with the hilt of his sword, and the pendant vibrated gently, absorbing the lingering echo of Yu Linhong's words, "Red Maple Crossing is just an old nail."
As he cut the lines, Manager Hu said, "It's lit up."
"Don't look at the pendant, look at the line."
"I didn't see it."
"She's going to shut up."
"So, did you manage to stay?"
"Left half a mouthful."
Yu Lin Hong's voice came from within the blood-red pattern, but it had lost its previous composure.
"Mo Chengyue, you're using my broken voice to ask for directions. Ask me how to get to Hongfeng Ferry first."
"You reminded me of Hongfeng Ferry again."
"I'm telling you, all that's left there is rotten water."
"Even rotten water can serve as evidence."
On the back of the ship without lights, the Soul Nail Array pattern below the name of Yu Lin Hong finally became a small section. Although it was not fully unfolded, it was enough to make the Blackwater change direction.
The black water that had originally entangled Mo Chengyue's shadow retreated beyond the threshold, following the thin line beneath the seventh red wedding dress and heading towards the bottom of the broken ship, as if tracing the path from which the wick was driven into the waterway years ago.
The seventh eye's entire face was dragged against the edge of the boat, and its half-eye was stuck by the old silver aura of the silver hairpin, preventing it from sinking with its body.
"Boat owner, save me!"
Yu Lin Hong did not respond to her.
Mo Chengyue looked at Seventh Eye and added fuel to the fire.
"The accountant is the executor, not the source accountant. The eye on her face belongs to Ah Sui, and its path connects to the Red Lantern Boat. You've already written down the upstream accountant name for the Red Lantern Boat."
The Seventh Eye Scream.
"Shut up!"
"What's your rush? I'll help you get a reduced sentence."
"You want me to cover for her!"
"Didn't you say that Ah Sui has been in your lamplight for twenty years, and all her memories, pain, and vision belong to you?"
Shopkeeper Hu flicked the silver hairpin downwards, and the base of the red thread made a wet cracking sound, causing another bit of the old silver patina to escape from the eye.
"The accounts are settled now."
The seventh eye turned to Manager Hu, and his soft voice cracked.
"Sister, listen to him putting me on the boat."
Manager Hu only looked at the box lid.
"Ah Sui, let's go back to shore."
Seventh Eye gritted his teeth, and the remaining thin threads below the red wedding dress all sprang towards the small box. Mo Chengyue pressed down with the spine of his sword, and the ash from the talisman and the remnants of thunderfire blocked those threads from the light.
"You still dare to steal the box?"
The seventh eye glared at him with venom.
"Mo Chengyue, you used the boat without lights to ask for an account, but it will ask you sooner or later."
"I'm the kind of person who will negotiate installment payments when I owe money."
Manager Hu couldn't help but curse.
"Can you please stop being sarcastic at a time like this?"
"No, it will hurt."
She paused for a moment, then pressed the silver hairpin deeper into the gap in the water film.
"Ah Sui, let's go back to shore."
The old silver light in the Soul-Sealing Box shone brightly, and the tip of the silver hairpin emitted a faint luster. The red thread connecting the skin of the half-eye and the seventh eye was finally picked open to the point of almost breaking.
At this moment, the black water of the unlit ship completely entangled the thin thread under the Seventh Eye's red wedding dress, and the soul nail array pattern under the name of Yu Lin Hong Zhang on the back of the ship began to fall onto the Seventh Eye's body.
The seventh eye panicked.
"Boat owner!"
Yu Lin Hong's voice finally rang out again. This time, it didn't come from Mo Cheng Yue's palm alone; even the black water of the unlit ship was tinged with a faint red glow.
"A ship without lights, you can't afford to pay that price."
The wet black ink marks on the back of the ship's license plate have not faded.
Yu Lin Hong chuckled softly, her laughter carrying along with the blood-stained inscription and the black water into the abandoned shipyard. The lingering ripples that Yin Xin Pei had just suppressed were deliberately pushed aside by her, and the jade light on the pendant was instead stained with watermarks by the red hue.
Mo Chengyue saw the watermark and pressed his left hand against the Yinxin pendant.
"Manager Hu, don't let the thread come loose."
Shopkeeper Hu sensed something was off about his tone, but the silver hairpin didn't leave the base of the red thread.
"What's wrong now?"
Mo Chengyue stared at the watermark stained with red on the Yin Xin pendant. Below the ink character on his right palm, the cold red aura was suddenly supported by the black water of the Wudeng Ship and the lingering red remnant of Yu Lin.
Yu Lin Hong's laughter floated up from the back of the ship's nameplate.
"You think the lightless ships are my enemies?"
