Chapter 1816 What is Transcendence
Chapter 1816 What is Transcendence
Chapter 1816 What is Transcendence
At the edge of chaos, a green lotus took root here, emitting a hazy and clear light. A faint sword light lingered here, explaining various truths and principles.
“Is this the other shore in Wusheng’s eyes?”
Listening to the sound of the Tao of No Birth, Zhang Chunyi had all kinds of insights in his mind.
The way to the other shore is a new way created by Wusheng. He mainly cultivates the way of sword and the way of killing. The two complement each other. Because he is born with the desire to kill, there are no taboos, and his sword has no hindrances, and he can cut everything. Later, in the sea of suffering, he reached the other shore and touched a glimpse of the true meaning of the other shore. Finally, he comprehended the way to the other shore based on the way of sword and the way of killing.
Anyone who blocks his path can be killed. When all obstacles disappear, he will naturally reach the other side. This path seems ethereal, but in fact it is extremely murderous. If one wants to achieve it, one does not know how much blood one has to shed. One must kill his way through everything.
“It is not easy to achieve enlightenment on this path. It is even close to impossible, because the biggest obstacle on the path of immortality is not a certain immortal or a certain force, but the heaven and earth itself.”
Thoughts arose and disappeared, and Zhang Chunyi frowned slightly as he considered various possibilities.
The path of Wusheng is indeed mysterious and unparalleled. It is precisely because of the special nature of this new path that Wusheng can, at this stage, practice reduction and seek emptiness, wash away some of the marks of heaven and earth, and gain a certain degree of freedom. But correspondingly, the difficulty of establishing his path will be far beyond ordinary.
"Transcendence is too high and too far. Wusheng's path to the other shore is more like a shortcut, but this shortcut is not so easy to take. From now on, it is almost impossible for Wusheng to establish his path. He can only wait for the opportunity."
“But it is undeniable that the path to the other side of lifelessness has given me a lot of inspiration.”
Reflecting his own body, Zhang Chunyi saw his true spirit.
The clear and turbid are divided into two, the Taoist holds up the sky, holding up the golden nature in his hands, emitting lapis lazuli brilliance, illuminating the ten directions, showing the clear, spiritual and free.
"Both are distinguishing between the clear and the turbid, and nurturing the gold nature, but Wusheng's is different from mine. My world is lifeless, while its has a strange vitality and more changes."
"Of course, from another perspective, my world is more stable, while Wusheng's world is more fragile. If I'm not careful, it may collapse. At that time, Wusheng's gold nature will also be damaged, and he may even fall from his position. The source of all these changes is the mark of heaven and earth."
Observing the essence of his own spirit, Zhang Chunyi caught a glimpse of a strange aura, which belonged to heaven and earth.
This aura blended perfectly with his own aura. He was completely unaware of it before, because this aura had already merged with him before he was fully born and had long become a part of him. But with the help of the power of the other side of life, Zhang Chunyi finally discovered some clues.
"The mark of heaven and earth is a kind of restraint of heaven and earth on living beings, but it is also a kind of protection. Without this layer of mark protection, countless living beings would be corroded by the chaos in the dark, fall into the path of stupidity, and have difficulty in seeing the light."
"Compared to the creatures of Chaos, the greatest advantage of the creatures within the realm is wisdom, and wisdom is most easily born in clarity."
After sensing the existence of the mark of heaven and earth, Zhang Chun looked at the heaven and earth again and suddenly saw a different scene.
Chaos is like the sea. The world was born in the sea. It weaves a network of laws to block chaos and gain clarity, but this barrier is not 100%. In the constant operation and change, large or small loopholes will appear from time to time. In such a situation, if there is no protection from the mark of heaven and earth, the creatures in the world can easily be corroded by chaos without knowing it, fall into stupidity, and become slaves of chaos.
It is precisely because of the chaotic nature of Chaos that it is difficult for Chaos Beasts to give birth to intelligence. Even if they are born powerful, once they grow up, the weakest one can be comparable to the Earth Immortals in the Taixuan Realm. However, the vast majority of Chaos Beasts are muddle-headed all their lives, no different from wild beasts. Even Chaos Beasts that are comparable to Celestial Immortals only have some spirituality and are at most relatively smart animals. Only when they become Immortal Kings can they give birth to true wisdom.
But even in the vast chaos, the number of Immortal Kings is extremely rare. Most of the Chaos Beasts that can stand out and become Immortal Kings have extraordinary encounters. To some extent, they are all walking miracles, who have grasped their own clarity in the chaos with disorder as the keynote.
"The world is truly a miracle born from chaos."
"By practicing reduction and seeking emptiness, Wusheng has cultivated the nature of gold. Now he can break free from the constraints of heaven and earth and truly go deep into the chaos. However, chaos is dangerous. For Wusheng, the Taixuan Realm is still an extremely important foothold. Without the protection of the Taixuan Realm, he will sink into the chaos sooner or later."
"The most important thing is that the great Dao in the Primal Chaos is silent and it is difficult to cultivate. If you want to make further progress there, you can only learn from those chaotic beasts. In comparison, the Heaven and Earth is a good place to seek immortality and the Dao. Although the Dao here is limited, it is well-organized and there are traces to follow."
"The world is the place where the Tao is pursued."
Thoughts arise and disappear, and Zhang Chunyi has a clearer understanding of the nature of heaven and earth, and chaos. Chaos is a place of stupidity, while heaven and earth are the cradle of wisdom.
"The inner world is a hotbed, a place to learn the Dao, while the inner world of chaos is the place to prove the Dao."
"The path to the other shore of the lifeless may allow living beings to take a shortcut and jump out of the world, but this kind of transcendence is only transcendence in a narrow sense. It is just that the living beings of the world have been transformed into chaotic living beings, no longer bound by the world. But is it really free in the chaos? I'm afraid not necessarily. At least those chaotic beasts are also subject to chaos. This kind of transcendence is just jumping from one cage to another."
“True transcendence should be to rise above the long river of time, to be indestructible, not bound by heaven and earth, chaos, and to be eternally free.”
Sparks of wisdom flashed, and the concept of transcendence gradually became clear in Zhang Chunyi's mind.
Ever since the birth of the path of spiritual practice, people in the world have been seeking immortality and transcendence, but no one has ever really explained what transcendence is. In Zhang Chunyi's current view, transcendence should have three aspects. One is to transcend the long river of time and have an unlimited lifespan. The second is to cut off the constraints of heaven and earth on oneself, get rid of the shackles of fate, and not be burdened with all kinds of cause and effect. My life is in my own hands, not in the hands of God.
The third is that my own nature is extraordinary and can face chaos directly, but I am also not bound by chaos. I am indestructible and can remain unchanged no matter how many disasters you face.
Only when these three are complete can a living being be considered truly enlightened and detached, unable to be restrained by heaven and earth or restrained by chaos, and able to be eternally free.
“Golden nature can make living beings immortal within the heaven and earth, but once separated from the heaven and earth and facing the chaos, it will not work. They will still be corroded by the chaos and will be annihilated one day. By then, immortality will be nothing but a dream. If you want to truly transcend the long river of time, the golden nature of the Golden Immortal may need to be further tempered.”
"As for severing the restraints of heaven and earth on oneself, one can learn from the way of the other shore of the Wusheng. As for the third point of being indestructible for all eternity, it overlaps with the first point to some extent. The focus is still on further tempering the gold nature."
By redefining transcendence and understanding what it is, Zhang Chunyi also found the direction to move forward.
For Zhang Chunyi at this time, the road to transcendence is still far away, but it is possible as long as he has a direction.
